Usually I tear through a bag of crackling in one sitting, but this black pepper blend actually made me slow down and savor it. The seasoning is balanced enough that I can taste the pork itself, which is exactly what I want from a snack. My only regret is that the bag is already empty.
The texture is perfect—crispy without being rock hard, and the black pepper stays subtler than I expected, which let the sea salt shine through. Crunched through the whole bag in one sitting and didn’t even feel guilty about it.
The black pepper hits just enough to keep things interesting without overpowering the salt, and the crackling stays crispy down to the last piece. I grabbed a bag for a road trip and it was gone before I hit the halfway point.
